My famous (well within my family 😝) mixed berry crumble for a Saturday night. It’s an easy one to make, and it never disappoints. A great low sugar, low carb option that still hits the sweet spot. This feeds my whole crew (of 6) easily, you can halve the recipe.
Ingredients
- 1kg frozen mixed organic berries
- 1 cup almond meal
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 cups desiccated coconut
- 125g (roughly half a block) of butter
- chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Put the berries in a dish to thaw a bit.
- Preheat oven to 160 degrees.
- Mix the almond meal, coconut & cinnamon together.
- Chop the cold butter and rub into the mix to make the crumble.
- Top over the berries, bake until top is brown, about 20-25 mins.
- Serve with thickened cream.
